It’s estimated that 230,000 Canadian women will suffer a violent physical attack at the hands of an intimate partner each year. As many as 92% of them report symptoms consistent with brain injury.

Dr. Shelina Babul partnered with Dr. Paul van Donkelaar to create an online resource for professionals who work with survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) in identifying concussion and supporting the healing process.

The tool will launch on the CATT website in both English and French Summer 2020.
