A manual is now available to assist health care professionals when conducting a virtual concussion exam.

This visually-appealing guide has practical information on how to conduct a virtual concussion exam, including: a list of estimated examination times; sample phrasing for each examination; what to do if abnormal findings are present; and links to additional resources and videos.

This manual was created to assist front-line health care professionals who cannot see their patients in person, or their patients have already had an in-person assessment but require a virtual follow-up appointment.

Please note that this manual is not intended for self-diagnosis or treatment. Additional in-person assessments may be required.

The resources was created in partnership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine, Canadian Medical Association, Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation, CHEO Research Institute, University of Ottawa, Bruyère, and UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
